EXILIS is used to reduce stubborn local fat. It may be used on the following areas of the body: stomach, thighs, breeches, sides, buttocks, arms, chin, back, calves, knees. Exilis, on the other hand, is not a treatment for general overweight. It is possible to treat the area of up to 1000 cm square at the same time (2-3 treatment areas), because of the fact that the removed fat is metabolised in the liver, which would not be able to process more fat at one time.
Performance – RID Technology
EXILIS helps patients get rid of body fat in three simple steps:
- Recognition (reach) – the combination of ultrasound with high-frequency energy allows to reach the previously resistant tissue and apply the therapy. The BTL Exilis system targets precisely defined deeper adipose tissue, and the contact cooling of the surface regulates skin temperature and protects delicate skin structures.
- Isolation (isolate) – ultrasound waves break fibrosis in fat structures, causing the breakdown of fat cells into individual units. Unshielded fat cells are then more easily accessible than ever and amenable to effective therapy.
- Deactivation (deactivate) – fat deposits usually consist of metabolically inactive cells. High-frequency energy causes precise deep heating of the tissue, which initiates metabolic activity and accelerates the processes of local lipolysis of adipose tissue. At the same time, apoptosis reduces the number of adipocytes. The volume of the fat cell decreases and the adipose tissue is reduced.

Duration of the treatment and effects after Exilis® Elite™
The EXILIS procedure takes approximately 30 to 60 minutes.
